911 Award
To Rose White
Executive
Director On behalf of NENA and the Education Advisory Board, we are honored to present Loudon County Emergency Communications District with the prestigious Partner in Education Recognition Award. This distinguished accolade—awarded to only ten agencies nationwide—celebrates your outstanding dedication to education and excellence in service. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! Your agency will be spotlighted at the June annual conference in Long Beach, CA. Please let us know if someone from your agency will attend to receive the award. We also show a video before the award is given. We will need to arrange a video interview in the next few weeks. Again, congratulations on this achievement, and thank you for your dedication to the industry and, more importantly, to your staff. Investing in your personnel ensures the best service to your citizens and responders. Sincerely, Lisa Fulton 911 Board, I am excited to share the email above from the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) in reference to Loudon County 9-1-1 being presented their prestigious PIER award! As Mrs. Fulton’s email states, Loudon County is the 10th agency nationwide, and will be the 3rd in Tennessee to receive this award. I have listed the eligibility criteria below. The NENA Partner in Education Recognition (PIER) Program honors PSAPs with an exceptional dedication to education. To receive a PIER certificate, an agency must demonstrate a commitment to improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of all employees, from new hires to center leadership, through continuous and ongoing professional-development activities.
